Procedure Description:
TRANSCRANIAL DOPPLERS (TCD)
TCD studies utilize ultrasound and Doppler
techniques to assess for narrowing or stenosis in the arteries carrying
blood to the brain. These tests are usually needed during evaluation
of stroke and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).
